Over $50,000 Contributed to Local Charities

Through the generous support of race sponsors and participants, the previous 4 First Midwest Bank Southwest Half Marathons have raised more than $100,000 for local charitable organizations since 2008. Proceeds from the 2012 event will benefit the American Cancer Society for Prostate Cancer Research, the South West Special Recreation Association and Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens.
