It all starts at 7:30 a.m. at Palos Heights City Hall, just west of Route 83 & 76th Avenue.
The Early Bird entry fee is $45. The price will increase to $55 on January 1. Starting on Monday, March 1st, the fee will be $65. There will be no on-site registration.
Advanced Chip Timing System
The 4th installment of the First Midwest Bank Southwest Half Marathon will feature break-through technology with the use of the D-tag, a disposable timing chip!
What is so smashing about the new d-tags? First, the chip will be attached to your bib, which will then need to be attached to your shoe on race day - so no having to pick up your chip in separate locations during packet pick-up! Second, and most importantly... the chips can be tossed in the garbage when you are done running. No need to stop during your cool down to have your chip removed and no worries if you lose your chip - no charge for lost chips!
Packet Pick-Up at the Health Fair and Expo
Participants are required to pick up their race packet (Bib #, T-shirt, etc) at the Expo/Health Fair, which will take place on Saturday, April 30 from 10am to 3pm at Moraine Valley Church (6300 W. 127th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463). No registration will be available on this day or on race day.
